Elizabethton and Carter County has one of the highest concentration of metal product manufacturers in Northeast Tennessee. Having manufacturers like Snap-On Tools Corporation, Modern Forge of Tennessee, NN Inc, NCI Building Systems, and Koyo Corporation of USA located within less than a 20 minute drive, a specialized workforce of over 2,900 employees in the area, and quick access to the Interstate system, makes Elizabethton the capital of metal product manufacturing in Northeast Tennessee.
