franklin_poolElizabethton’s Joe LaPorte Recreation Facility is a 3.9 acre facility that is home to Franklin Pool, an Olympic size swimming pool complete with two diving boards, a fenced in kiddie pool, acres of grass area for lounging and two covered pavilions inside a gated facility. Franklin Pool is located conveniently between Sycamore Shoals State Park and Sycamore Shoals Hospital and is accessible by Sycamore Shoals scenic walking trail and the Tweetsie Trail.

Private Party Rentals

Evening Rentals: Private evening parties will be scheduled for a two hour period and will begin at 6:00PM. A party for 49 patrons or less will be $175.00. A party for more than 49 patrons will be $250.00.

Reserved Pavilions:  During hours of operation the fee to reserve will be $25.00 per hour.

Admission Rates

Season Tickets: Franklin Pool Pass maybe purchased for $80.00 each. These passes are good for 40 daily admissions. These can be used by more than one family member.

Daily Admission: Admission $4.00 All children under the age of five enter for free with a paying adult. All children under the age of twelve must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Group Rates Daily admission for groups of 20 or more individuals will be $2.00. Adult’s supervisors that attend with youth groups will pay $2.00. Youth organizations that attend our facility must have one adult per 12 youth.
