2023 Franklin Pool Season 

The Franklin Pool will open Saturday, May 27th!!

We look forward to seeing you this summer at Franklin Pool!

Since school is back in session, the Franklin Pool will only be open on Saturdays and Sundays until it closes on Labor Day, September 4th.

Elizabethton’s Joe LaPorte Recreation Facility is a 3.9 acre facility that is home to Franklin Pool, an Olympic size swimming pool complete with two diving boards, a splash pad installed in 2017, acres of grass area for lounging and two covered pavilions inside a gated facility. Amenities onsite also include a bathhouse with showers, a concession facility and pickleball/tennis courts located just next door.

Franklin Pool is located conveniently between Sycamore Shoals State Park and Sycamore Shoals Hospital and is accessible by Sycamore Shoals scenic walking trail and the Tweetsie Trail.
