The City of Elizabethton's Building Codes Division's mission is to provide quality customer service through administration, communication, education, assisting the public in compliance with the adopted codes and ordinances of the City of Elizabethton.Our values and guiding principles build upon the City's goal of cultivating the hometown atmosphere in the City of Elizabethton. We are committed to providing professional and courteous service to our customers and the community. We will maintain a high level of integrity. The Building Codes Department recognizes we are stronger together than apart and will share knowledge, integrity, responsibilities, and recognition. We are experts in our field and continuously strive to improve our services and ourselves through continued education and training.
